Breath ornaments are clear glass teardrop shaped Christmas Tree Baubles. But they are so much more. The bubbles were originally made for "Breath Taking: Revealing a New Wave in British Glass Blowing", British Crafts Council touring exhibition in 2011-2012 . Blown in 2011, made into Christmas tree ornaments in November 2021, each bauble contains the breath of a stranger. I collected the breath of yoga students and their teacher in Edinburgh and transfered it into the glass bubbles. 
 
I love the idea of holding space for a stranger on your tree and in your home. referencing multiple holiday stories, Breath Ornaments are a lovely reminder of what is most dear.
 
Each is unique, sizes vary, but range from about 16-20cm long (6-8"). Gift boxed.
