The A9 is the main motorway between Edinburgh and the Highlands of Scotland; a road I travel alot. Icicles drip in beautiful formations in winter and the A9 chandelier is modeled on them. 90x34x34cm (35.5"x13.5"x13.5") from top of frame. Individual icicles are all hollow and made from flameworked borosilicate glass. They are exactly like the icicles in my installation Ausklingen (Fade Away), and like them, make beautiful sounds when gently played.
